Hyunaewon is a 6.61-hectare-wide garden located in Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, where one can find a harmony of peace and nature. Located about an hour away by car from Jeju International Airport and near popular tourist sites, such as Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone and Seopjikoji, it is an ideal spot to include in a Seogwipo East region travel itinerary. Hyunaewon has a large variety of beautiful flowers, from cherry blossoms to rhododendrons, royal azalea, bottlebrushes, sunflowers, crape myrtle, cosmos, pink muhly, pampas, angel’s trumpets, Jeju hydrangea, montbretia, and rose of Sharon. Thus, visitors can always enjoy new scenery and feel the joy of being one with nature in the garden filled with flowers and trees throughout all four seasons.

In particular, Hyunaewon is famous as one of the premier places for hydrangeas in Jeju. When hydrangea flowers are in full bloom, one can indeed see beautiful flowers from the entrance. As such, this is the best place to admire the hydrangeas, which are full of water and fresh fragrance. A stroll through the flowering paths among the tall trees is the perfect way to feel the tranquility and nature to the fullest. Easterly Garden Café inside the garden boasts a large, open space with plants everywhere, allowing for a peaceful time.
