Jeju has many beaches other than those designated as tourist beaches.

One such place is Segial Beach near Gimnyeong Beach, a popular snorkeling spot on the island.

The water at Segial Beach is as emerald green and beautiful as the water at Gimnyeong Beach.

The name “Segial” means “below the Seongsegi Beach”.

It is a stop on Jeju’s Olle Trail system, so you can often meet people walking the trails, and the beach is actually visible from Gimnyeong Beach.

Segial Beach was made even more famous by the TV show “Welcome to Samdal-ri”, which featured the red lighthouse and the emerald sea at the beach featured prominently.

The windmills behind it looks like a landscape painting. 

Fans of the show will recognize the scenery from the scene where actors Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun had a conversation on the breakwater.

At low tide, Segual Beach is a wide expanse of white sand with shallow water and low waves, making it a great place for young children to play.

A popular spot for snorkeling, it gets quite crowded at high tide.

You can find a lot of people, both children and adults, looking for fish.

There are places nearby that rent out equipment as well.

If you don’t have your own equipment, you can rent it on the beach.

There are quite a few beaches that do not have any showers, but here, you have showers that you can pay to use.

You can also find people on paddleboards and surfing, and indeed, you can even find places that rent them.

Since the water is quite shallow, even beginners can try it without any problems.

The wind generators in the distance give the beach a rather exotic background.

Segial Beach became famous as a diving spot through social media.

But last year, a series of accidents have led to a diving ban.

The ban has been lifted, but you can still see the safety signs.

The signs say, “This is a dangerous area with frequent diving accidents, please be careful when playing in the water.”

You can also find banners with the words “This area has seen frequent diving accidents, so please take care of your own safety.”

In fact, it is always a good idea to take care of your own safety.

If you don’t want to swim in the sea, you can take a walk to the red lighthouse.

There are plenty of safety fences along the road and it is a great place for photography.
