Article 1 (The Aim)
Theseregulations aim to state the rights, duties, responsibilities,etc. ofthe services users(referred to as"members" below) and the Jeju Tourism Organization for using the "Jeju tourist information official site" (referred to as"the service" below) of the Jeju Tourism Organization.
Article 2 (The effect and change of the utilization agreement)
This regulation takes effect through the notification of members by posting on the service page or other ways.
The Jeju Tourism Organization can change these regulations if required, and e members can check any changes to regulations on posts on the service page.
Article 3 (The application of terms)
The terms can be adopted related to the service use. Beyond the stated cases in the regulation, contents usage regulation, content copyrights protection policy, or other related policies can be adopted.
Article 4 (The usage contract formation)
Membership refers to use of the service by users according to the agreements of this regulation, the contents usage rules, and the content copyrights protection policy. It means that a contract is formed between the members and the Jeju Tourism Organization.
Article 5 (Service use)
The members use the service within the usage range for each work following this regulation, the contents usage rules, and the content copyrights protection policy.
Article 6 (Service use limitation)
In case of one of the following circumstances, the Jeju Tourism Organization will force currently using members to stop their use.
Registration is done with another person’s name.
The member enrolled to disturb social order or proper custom.
Other registration enrolment requirements of the Jeju Tourism Organization are invalid.
Article 7 (The duty of the Jeju Tourism Organization)
In case of system failure or destruction, the Jeju Tourism Organization should repair or restore it without delay to offer continuous and stable service. However, there may be cases where there are unavoidable reasons for the disruption.
The Jeju tourism organization shall make an effort to make reasonable for members the process and contents related to the contract including the formation of contract, change of terms and the termination, etc.
Article 8 (The duty and information security for service use of the members)
The members who use the service must follow the decided terms of this regulation, the contents usage rules, and the content copyrights protection policy.
The service users agree not to do any of the following.
Promoting for-profit use of the service without the previous consent of the Jeju Tourism Organization
Using another’s information or communication service name illegally
The action of posting, publishing or e-mailing contents without the right (all rights including intellectual property)
The action of collecting or saving another user’s personal information.
Any other illegal or inappropriate action
Article 9 (The personal information protection policy)
Personal information acquired by the Jeju Tourism Organization is used for the contract fulfillment and service offer on the contract.
The Jeju Tourism Organization cannot leak or distribute personal information without the user’s permission. Commercial use is also prohibited without it. However, in case of the following it is possible.
In case of a requirement from related institutes for investigation based on related laws.
In case of a requirement from the Communication Standards Committee.
In case of a requirement followed by the decided protocols based on related laws.
Article 10(The service use)
In case of the disturbance of service posting because of technical or functional failures, the Jeju Tourism Organization will post on the website to let the members know.
The service use is fundamentally offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the service can be temporarily stopped because of technical or functional reasons. Also, it can be interrupted during a period decided by the Jeju Tourism Organization for business purposes including regular check up. In those situations, the Jeju Tourism Organization is to notify users before or after it.
Article 11 (The change, and termination of the service, or the storage, and usage of the information)
The member consents that Jeju Tourism Organization holds no responsibility for the failure to save the contents of the stored, transferred or other communicative messages due to an emergency of the country, blackout, service failure or other uncontrollable factor causing the loss of other transmitted data.
If the service has to be stopped temporarily because of e difficulties in the normal service operation, it can be stopped after notice. The Jeju Tourism Organization takes no responsibility for unawareness of it.
The Jeju tourism organization can edit, modify, and terminate service temporarily after giving previous notice, and any responsibility for this is not assumed by users or the third party.
In case of the user’s disruption of our terms of service, the service can be arbitrarily stopped and all or part of postings can be deleted.
Article 12 (The ownership of the Jeju Tourism Organization)
The Jeju Tourism Organization maintains ownership of intellectual property and other rights related to the service it offers including the necessary software, images, mark, logos, design, service name, information, etc.
The member cannot modify, rent, loan, sell, distribute, produce, transfer, re-license, establish security rights, or make for-profit use of the whole or part of the service content work offered by the Jeju Tourism Organization. Also the member cannot permit a third party to do any of these actions.
Article 13 (The portrait rights and property rights)
The content information offered by the Jeju Tourism Organization has no rights related to portrait rights, trademark rights, patent rights, etc.
Additional permission must be acquired by the member for those rights. In case of conflict on those rights or with a third party, the organization takes no responsibility.
Article 14 (Copy, modification, illegal use, or return)
If conviction occurs for illegal use, copy of photos, or use of the copies, the compensation can be claimed as per the content work by regarding this as purposeful infringement of copyright.
Article 15 (The dispute mediation)
In case of a dispute between the Jeju Tourism Organization and the member, the process can be referred to the Personal Information Protection Committee in the Korea Internet and Security Agency for the rapid and effective solution of the dispute.
Article 16 (The competent court)
In case of a dispute related to the service use between the Jeju Tourism Organization and members, both the Jeju Tourism Organization and the member shall make all efforts for amicable agreement.
Nevertheless, if a lawsuit is brought about regarding service use, a competent court will be assigned by the Jeju Tourism Organization.
