Jongdal-ri is a town at the eastern end of Jeju. It is also called “Jimi.” which means “tail of the land.” Dumo-ri?a town in Hankyung-myeon at the western end of Jeju?is considered the head part of the land. Located farthest from Hallasan Mountain, this town has many things to offer. There’s the Yongnooni Oreum that was loved by the late photographer Kim Yeong-gap, as well as the ocean road filled with the sight of blooming hydrangea in the summertime.
